I saw him as a self paid patient. After a consultation, he was prepared to see me as an NHS patient to get to the source of my constant pain. He explained in detail the course of action that is recommended.

Great result from my total knee replacement carried out by Mr Parkar. It was very painful for the first week but that was to be expected due to the complexity of the surgery. Recovery went well as I completed all of the excersis that I was given. I also purchased an excersis bike and this was a great help in getting full movement back in the knee. Just had my 3 month review with Mr Parkar and we are both very pleased with the overall progress. I'm told the slisgt swelling should clear within the next 3 months or so. I'm now at the point of being 99% pain free as it still tightens a little after a 2 mile walk. I would highly recommend Mr Parkar should you need a knee replacement. I can only add thank you for giving me my mobility back and getting rid of my hip and back pain that resulted from the knee prior to replacement.

Dr Parkar was very informative, listened well, was very friendly and patient. He had excellent communication skills and was very thorough in his examinations. My operation went extremely well and my healing could not be better. The scar is very neat and well healed. Dr Parkar has been very reliable and trustworthy. He went above and beyond when I had a mix-up in hospitals and was late to attend my appointment. I expected it to be cancelled due to my lateness however he waited very kindly and was very understanding. I had not expected such good treatment and could not fault the care.

I felt that Dr Parker was very professional especially when discussing the operation. I was able to talk though my concerns in a safe environment and anything I was worried about was answered with sensitivity. The after care provided has been wonderful and I am extremely happy with my operation experience.
